Mr. Richard Schatzberg founded Snap Telecommunications, Inc. Mr. Schatzberg serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aequus Technologies Corp. He also leads sales and business development activities to expand the Snap!VRS customer base into enterprise markets.
Mr. Schatzberg served as an Executive Chairman of Snap Telecommunications, Inc. Mr. Schatzberg founded Aequus Technologies in 2001, which later acquired Snap Telecommunications. Prior to founding Aequus,
Mr. Schatzberg served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of NeST Technologies, a global systems engineering and application development firm.
Mr. Schatzberg co founded and served as the President of IDANG, Inc. He has served as the Chairperson for several federally funded grants programs which support the training and employment of adults with disabilities.
He is the Treasurer of the Board of the Directors of the Abilities Fund, a national non-profit serving entrepreneur with disabilities and serves as the Co-Chair of the Business Advisory Council for the EmployME! Program, a Kessler Foundation funded program servicing adults with physical disabilities.
He served as Director of Snap Telecommunications, Inc. Mr. Schatzberg is a frequent national speaker in the areas of assistive technologies and on creating greater employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Richard is the Chief Commercial Officer of NeST Technologies, Inc., a global software services and business/knowledge process outsourcing (BPO/KPO) firm. In his capacity as CCO, Richard leads North American operations and provides sales and business development leadership in other global markets, including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Richard is a technology entrepreneur, having founded various businesses that leverage technology to create positive social, economic and business impact, including the National Cloud Technologists Association (NCTA) that provides training, certification and services in the area of cloud computing, network security, and business continuity services.
Richard serves on various Boards, including as Treasurer of the Abilities Fund, a non-profit organization providing seed capital to entrepreneurs with disabilities. Richard is also a Board member of, Abilities, Inc., a part of the Henry Viscardi Center, the National Business and Disability Center (NBDC) and the Albert Dorman Honors College at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
